# Trading Taxes \[HODL only]

The Token Owner can define transaction taxes, including buy tax and sex tax rates. The allowable range for trading taxes spans from <mark style="color:purple;">**0%**</mark> to <mark style="color:purple;">**50%**</mark>.&#x20;

Tax rate adjustments are irreversible once set, with decreases allowed thereafter. Modifications are limited to a single occurrence within a 48-hour window.&#x20;
